East Midlands Property Management Limited - General - Nottinghamshire
Date: 04 Nov 2003
The Humberts residential letting business, Humberts Hill & Hill, has merged with Newark Property Management.
The newly merged business East Midlands Property Management Limited, will manage some 800 residential properties in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire from offices in Newark and Grantham, and will trade as Newark Property Management in Newark.
Valerie Rose and Jackie Davey of Humberts Hill & Hill’s Beaumond Chambers offices have joined the staff of Newark Property Management and will based at 29 Cartergate, Newark. Charles and Jane Fawcett, who have built Newark Property Management into one of the market leaders in Newark, will manage the business.
“The merger enables us to consolidate our business in Newark and to centre staff in one office. It also provides a way forward to develop our growing residential property business in other parts of the East Midlands,” said Humberts partner, Tony Snarey.
Newark Property Management was formed nearly four years ago as a new breakaway company forged in an amicable arrangement from William H Brown Estate Agencies. Since that time it has grown from managing 50 properties to in excess of 300 properties now let and managed.
Co-director Mrs Jane Fawcett has hands-on involvement and is specifically responsible for running and co-ordinating the smooth and immediate transition of rents from tenants to landlords. Wendy Greenberry, who is the office manager, with support from Michele Jackson and Dorothy Pennington, are all extremely experienced in property letting and management, and that experience will be boosted by Valerie Rose and Jackie Davey joining the team.
Humberts Hill & Hill was formed approximately three years ago following a merger of Humberts Estate Agency and Hill & Hill Lettings Agency, which had been established by Mr John Hill. This business currently manages some 450 properties at Newark and Grantham. It will continue to trade as Humberts Hill & Hill in Grantham although day-to-day control will fall to Charles and Jane Fawcett with John Hill in a consultancy role and with assistance from Melanie Bowen.
