Sladen Estates has let the 81,700 sq-ft unit at their Fulwood 28 scheme to Sutton-in-Ashfield-based Welcome Food Ingredients.

The development, which was a joint venture with Peveril Securities, comprises 2 units totalling 124,000sq-ft. The scheme is located less than a mile from junction 28 of the M1 in an established industrial and distribution area.

Commenting on the level of interest in the scheme Nick Sladen explains: "Fulwood 28 caught the attention of potential occupiers within days of building work starting on site. In February, when the buildings were completed, we organised a breakfast launch at the development and as a result received a number of serious enquiries."

There has also been plenty of interest in Fulwood 28's smaller 42,700 sq-ft unit, which is available and ready for viewing via the agents.

The area around junction 28 offers a good supply of skilled labour, has excellent road and rail communications, and offers a good quality of life to those moving to north Nottinghamshire.
