Chartwell Land - Retail - Norwich, Cathedral Retail Park

Chartwell Land has sold Cathedral Retail Park in Norwich, to Unilever Superannuation Fund, clients of LaSalle Investment Management, for approximately £13.6 million reflecting a net initial yield of 6.1%.

Chartwell Land actively managed the scheme to increase the size of the park which included the surrender of a B&Q lease and creation of a terrace of four retail units.

The 5,452 sq m (58,684 sq ft) retail park, located on the Norwich inner ring road and close to the city centre is let to Toys R Us, Comet and Brantano, with one small unit vacant and to let. Cathedral Retail Park benefits from an unrestricted Al non food retail consent.
