Date: 04 Jan 2008
A new £1.2 million industrial and warehouse development at Great Northern Terrace, Lincoln, developed by an expanding county based commercial property developer and drilling company, holds out the prospect of bringing new businesses and jobs to the city.
The development by county based Boretech Lincs Limited is being marketed by chartered surveyors, Hodgson Elkington and provides high quality units from 3,056 - 18,700 sq ft (284 - 1,737 sq m) on a one and a half acre site on George Street, Great Northern Terrace, formerly known as Woods Skip Yard.
Boretech, based at Faldingworth is a drilling company supplying services to the gas, water and electricity industries and within the last few years the company has ventured into building mainly commercial properties at its 14-acre Newton business park at Faldingworth and at Owersby. The company employs 22 full time staff.
"We have been keen to produce good quality buildings with good eves height and the new buildings are on a spacious site with excellent parking and turning areas. The facilities would suit growing businesses that may be looking to expand from smaller industrial units. The site is just a short distance to the south of Lincoln City Centre.
Yet close to the proposed Eastern Bypass," said Dave Grant, a director of Boretech Lincs Limited.
"We have already had a number of enquiries for the Great Northern Terrace estate which we believe occupying a central but accessible location off Canwick Road and close to Pelham Bridge is particularly attractive. The five units are finished to a high standard and are considered suitable for industrial, wholesale, trade counter, storage and distribution uses," said Matthew Johnson of Hodgson Elkington.
Rents are from: £12,250 per annum exclusive.
