King Sturge has been appointed by Thomas Cook UK & Ireland as its principal property consultant to provide lease consultancy and agency advice for the UK retail portfolio, together with a property management service. A building consultancy service will also be provided as and when required.

King Sturge was successful following a re-tendering process initiated by Thomas Cook UK in December and involving a number of the UK's major property consultancies.

Tom Keys-Toyer, a Partner in the King Sturge Corporate Real Estate team, said: "We are delighted to have been selected by Thomas Cook UK & Ireland. We are well acquainted with the business, having recently acquired the Leslie Furness business, which had advised Thomas Cook for the past nine years.
