For the very first time, a supplier of serviced office space has been voted one of the 'Sunday Times Best Small Companies to Work For' in the 2008 awards.

Business Environment (BE), which owns ten business centres in London and the South of England, was placed 52nd in the awards and also received a two star (Outstanding) rating in the prestigious Best Companies 2008 accreditation scheme.

In addition, the company also received the most prestigious of six special awards, which was for the 'Most Improved Company'. This coveted award was presented to BE by Jonathan Austin, founder and ceo of Best Companies Ltd at a black tie dinner in London.

With five additional buildings currently being refurbished, BE is on an expansion trail which will see the company double in size during the next few years. Former winners of of the coveted Business Centre of the Year award from the Business Centre Association, the company has pioneered many innovative new services, such as the introduction of the UK's first all-inclusive serviced office package which has no hidden extras.
