Savills - Industrial Letting - Surrey

EHD London, advised by Savills, has taken Unit A, Avro Way, Brooklands Industrial Estate, Weybridge, Surrey from John Lewis.

EHD has acquired the entire property, totalling 55,339 sq ft (5,141 sq m), on a sub-lease expiring in September 2014. The specialist in wine storage and distribution has taken the property at a rent equating to £8.10 per sq ft (£87 per sq m).

EHD's clients include major UK auction houses, hoteliers, restaurateurs and off-licenses, and will be doubling their capacity from their previous base on the Twickenham Trading Estate.

Paul Harknett, director of Savills industrial team: "This deal will enable EHD to effectively double its storage and distribution centre almost over night and support the rate at which its business has expanded. With its prime South M25 location, we felt that the Brooklands Estate was the ideal fit, benefiting from strong transport links, particularly into central London."

The Brooklands Estate is home to the new Mercedes Benz UK Flagship dealership, as well as Tesco, BAE Systems, TNT, Yamaha, Royal Mail and Marks and Spencer.

John Lewis was represented by Colliers CRE.
