Savills - General Sale - Towcester, Northamptonshire

A private client of Savills has sold the 34-bed nursing home The Meadows, in Towcester, Northamptonshire to a private investor for an undisclosed sum.

The home provides 24 single bedrooms and five double bedrooms, arranged over two floors and set in approximately two acres of garden. The Meadows has recently undergone extensive internal refurbishment.

Alan Matthews, associate director of Savills, comments: "The Meadows provides an excellent standard of accommodation, which proved attractive to potential purchasers. We are still seeing strong trading in the healthcare market, with good quality operations continuing to trade well. For this reason we are witnessing new entrants into this alternative market attracted by strong returns in these cautious times for the wider commercial property market."

Savills Private Finance provided assistance with the financial aspects of the purchase. The purchaser was unrepresented.
