Property consultants Alder King have sold Unit 3 on the Pen y Fan Industrial Estate, Oakdale on behalf of Celtic Property Developments. UNITEC purchased the unit, paying £1,250,000 for the freehold.

The unit is a detached self contained warehouse/production facility, with two storey offices at the front of the unit. It extends to 29,824 sq ft and is located on the Pen y Fan Industrial Estate, a popular industrial area next to the A467.

The units on Pen y Fan were built by the Welsh Development Agency in 1993, to provide modern industrial units to encourage enterprise and boost the local economy. The industrial estate is in a "Tier One" location, which means that qualifying projects can secure the maximum level of grant assistance available anywhere in the UK and EU.

Occupiers on the estate include Braces Bakery, Abingdon Flooring, WRC plc, Senior Flexonics and The Border Group.

Alder King and Lambert Smith Hampton are joint letting agents on Pen y Fan Industrial Estate.
