National chartered surveyors Humberts has made a strategic decision to relocate valuations specialist John Ely to develop its commercial team in Horsham.

John's relocation is part of the firm's approach to the development and shaping of its commercial division and its valuation services in particular. By adding Horsham to its existing region-wide network of offices in London, Southampton, Canterbury and Salisbury it can now provide a comprehensive service across the whole of the south.

Humberts' commercial division provides valuation advice to a raft of household-name banks and building societies in relation to commercial property, developments and investment portfolios.

Establishing a commercial team at its existing office in Horsham will provide the platform for seamless delivery of valuation, agency, investment, development advice and other professional services.

John Ely commented: "Over the years, I have worked on many aspects of valuation from office, residential and industrial developments to student lettings portfolios, hotels and nurseries - of both the child and plant variety!
