24 Hour Ice, the national supplier of ice, is the latest occupier to join the line-up at Slough Trading Estate's Enterprise Quarter, taking a 585 sq ft (54 sq m) unit on Yeovil Road. The company, which saw its business grow rapidly, was most recently involved in supplying the ice for the 2008 BAFTA and Academy Award-winning film (for Best Visual Effects) The Golden Compass, starring Daniel Craig and Nicole Kidman.

24 Hour Ice specialises in the supply of ice, dry ice and ice sculptures, offering same day and overnight courier services, serving the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe.

David Brown of 24 Hour Ice said: "We chose to locate to the Trading Estate due to the excellent transport links that it offers, with easy access to the M1, M3, M25 and M40. The Estate is ideally located for us and the Enterprise Quarter offers flexible leases suited to a business of our size. We were thrilled when The Golden Compass won its awards for best visual effects - though I think the closest we'll get to seeing an Oscar statuette is if we sculpt one from ice!"

Neil Impiazzi, Inward Investment Manager at Slough Trading Estate commented: "We're delighted to welcome 24 Hour Ice to the Trading Estate. Since launching the Enterprise Quarter last year as a specific initiative for growing businesses, we have seen a steady uptake in space, demonstrating the high level of demand for this type of business space.

"At Slough Trading Estate we believe that creating a supportive business environment can play a pivotal role in a company's future growth and success, and so we are committed to working with our customers to help them thrive."
