Gerald Eve - Appointment - UK

Gerald Eve, chartered surveyors and property consultants, has announced a new Executive Board to lead the firm following its conversion to a Limited Liability Partnership in October 2008.

The new board includes three new appointments: Hugh Bullock will be appointed senior partner of Gerald Eve, Simon Prichard becomes strategy partner and Simon Rees will be appointed managing partner.

The new Executive Board will comprise the following members:
* Hugh Bullock, senior partner
* Simon Rees, managing partner (chairman)
* Simon Prichard, strategy partner
* Peter Haigh-Lumby, operations partner
* Robert Priestley, director of people & policy

The role of managing partner, Simon Rees, will essentially be a full-time management position.

The responsibilities held by the firm's present senior partner, David Butters, will be split between Hugh Bullock, Simon Prichard and Simon Rees. This structure devolves management responsibility across the Executive Board and, most importantly, ensures that Hugh Bullock and Simon Prichard continue to work closely with clients. David Butters will continue to lead the leisure, retail and corporate property management teams.
