Alder King - Industrial Letting - Okehampton, Devon

Property consultants Alder King have let two industrial units on the North Road Industrial Estate in Okehampton to one of the UK's leading trade suppliers.

Alder King negotiated the surrender of a lease on Unit 3, North Road, which was previously occupied by Heinz. The consultants then let Units 3 and 4 to Howdens Joinery Ltd, who took the units on a rent of £42,384 per annum exclusive, on a new 15 year lease. In total the industrial units extend to 10,596 sq ft.

Howdens are a national company and are the UK's leading trade supplier of kitchen and joinery products to the small builder.

George Turnbull, surveyor at Alder King commented: "Howdens needed a large industrial unit in an established industrial area to suit their business, which is solely selling to trade customers. North Road Industrial Estate proved the perfect location and we are delighted to have attracted such a well known and popular occupier to the area."
