Ryden - Offices Letting - Leith, Scotland

Date: 29 May 2008

PSCA International, provider of public sector information and publisher of sector publications, has chosen Commercial Quay in Leith as the location for its first Scottish office.

PSCA has taken a new lease of 2,350 sq ft at suite 86/1A at £37,600 per annum. The new office will add to the company's existing offices in Newcastle, Manchester and Birmingham and will facilitate a dedicated service for Scottish public sector business, government and partners.

Commercial Quay is a substantial 85,000 sq ft mixed-use property situated off Commercial Street in Leith. The building, a Grade-B listed former bonded warehouse, provides restaurant and retail premises at ground floor, with three upper levels of office accommodation offering a variety of suite sizes, and is home to Campbell & Arnott Architects, Cisco Systems, the Beanscene coffee bar and award winning Michelin-starred restaurant, The Kitchin.

Iain Taylor, of letting agents Ryden, commented: "This latest letting to PSCA International confirms Commercial Quay's position as a popular business destination. With tightening supply of good-quality, open-plan office suites within the City Centre, further lettings are sure to follow as occupiers look outwith the traditional city core to satisfy requirements for good quality accommodation."

Commercial Quay is owned by GE Real Estate which is making a £500,000 investment in refurbishment of the office accommodation, overseen by asset managers GPT Halverton.

Ryden and DTZ acted as joint letting agents on behalf of the landlord and PSCA International was self-represented.
