Knight Frank - Offices Letting - Glaswgow, Bath Street

Date: 04 Jul 2008

Acting on behalf of the Office of Rail Regulation (ORR), Knight Frank has acquired new office premises on the second floor of Tara House, 46 Bath Street, Glasgow.

The suite extends to 1,793 sq ft and has been taken on a new ten year lease with a tenant break option at year five. The agreed rent is based on a rate of £14.25 per sq ft. Two car parking spaces have been negotiated as part of the tenancy and a further four spaces by way of licence agreement.

Michael Facenna, senior surveyor, said: "We're pleased to have been able to secure this high quality city centre accommodation for our client. It was important to the ORR that their new premises were close to the main transport hubs of Queen Street and Central Station and Tara House accurately fulfils this brief."

Knight Frank's building consultancy team also provided due diligence surveys of the property and has been retained to provide full design and project management services.

Building surveyor Mark Quigley added: "Our expertise will allow a fast track occupation of a grade A standard office fit out suitable for the ORR's requirements."
