GVA Grimley - Appointment - Bristol

Commercial property consultancy GVA Grimley has announced a senior promotion and a number of new appointments within its Bristol office.

Matt Morris has been promoted to Director within the firm's Planning, Development and Regeneration team, which provides strategic planning advice to a wide range of public and private sector clients. Matt joined GVA Grimley in December 2000. He specialises in retail planning and town centre regeneration projects, and currently advises a significant number of local authorities across the South West. In recent years, Matt has led regeneration projects in Bodmin and Camborne, and has advised on the impact of large scale development on the strategic road network in Gloucestershire.

Alongside Matt, GVA Grimley has appointed Simon Bayliss as graduate planner within the Planning, Development and Regeneration team. Simon previously worked for Herefordshire County Council, and in this new role will be working across the commercial, retail, residential and regeneration sectors.

Jonathan Loveys has been appointed as Principal Surveyor within Property Management Consultancy. Jonathan brings experience of management, agency and specialist telecoms, as well as general practice surveying to the role. He will be responsible for the management of premises throughout the South West on behalf of a wide variety of clients. He previously worked for NAI Erinaceous in Bristol, and is a captain in the Territorial Army.
