Matthews & Goodman's Northern Rating Team have agreed a merger combining three assessments into one at the main Leyland Truck site located on the Lancashire Enterprise Business Park in Farington, Leyland near Preston.

Matthews & Goodman managed to save Leyland Trucks £115,000 by combining the three assessments into one.

Leyland Trucks have recently reacquired neighbouring units, last used by them in the 1990's increasing the site size to 1,010,685 sqft. They purchased the Centurion building, which last year housed the LazEboy seat company. The building was originally built in the 1960's for the production of bus, truck and car engines.

This is the third successful reduction at this site on the 2005 List.
