KMW Properties - Industrial Sale - Bridgwater

Local developer and investor, KMW Properties, has completed the purchase of Premdor's former site on Bristol Road in Bridgwater, advised by national commercial property consultancy, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH).

The site, purchased from Premdor at a quoting price of £2.75 million, covers 7.2 acres and comprises a number of buildings totalling approximately 135,000 sq ft. KMW Properties is planning to refurbish the existing buildings and develop further buildings on-site which will be available on a leasehold or freehold basis.

Tom Gibbons, Director at LSH's Bristol office, commented: "With a prominent frontage of over 100 metres facing onto the Bristol Road, we anticipate roadside and trade counter interest from both local and national occupiers, as well as standard warehousing and manufacturing companies."

Tom continued: "This purchase is great news for the south west and a real economic boost for Bridgwater, providing new job opportunities locally and further enhancing the industrial activity in the area. Not only is this welcome business for the south west but it proves that large industrial sales are being concluded, despite the doom and gloom portrayed by some in the market."
