Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP's - Retail Letting - Canvey Island
Date: 07 Aug 2008
Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP's London office has been instructed by the Greater Manchester Pension Fund to manage and advise on the letting of their 75,000 sq ft Knightswick Shopping Centre, located in Canvey Island.
The centre was built in the 1970s and is anchored by a large Sainsbury's supermarket. Other tenants within the scheme include Peacocks, M & Co and Nationwide Building Society. Card Factory and Pridmore Bookmakers have recently signed leases and opened new shops in the Centre.
Dominic Tomlinson of Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP said: "This is an exciting and challenging instruction. The Knightswick Centre is a well established shopping centre and serves the 40,000 + population of the Island extremely well, although there is plenty of scope to enhance the retail choice."
Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP have also recently been instructed to advise on the new shopping centre development in Leamington Spa, The Malls in Basingstoke and The Mall in Gloucester.
