Richard Susskind & Company - Retail Letting - London

Date: 07 Aug 2008

London-born fashion designer and Creative Director of Gucci, Alexander McQueen is to trade-up from his present 6,000 sq ft London headquarters in Amwell Street, London EC1 and has signed a pre-let with Invista to move to their new 13,275 sq ft Metro Building at 76 Clerkenwell Road London EC1 for an undisclosed rent.

Commenting on the letting, Shaun Simons, Director of Richard Susskind & Company said, "Although Alexander McQueen is a long time resident of Clerkenwell the past eighteen months has seen Espirit, Timberland, TM Lewin, Kookia, Ben Sherman and Agent Provocateur all move here. Whilst price is always going to be a determining factor, Clerkenwell with its cooler, trendier vibe than the more pretentious West End is now seen as an established area in its own right with high quality individualistic buildings that appeal to occupiers."

Richard Susskind & Company acted for Invista whilst Wilson McHardy represented Alexander McQueen.
