Date: 08 Aug 2008

Regeneration consultancy, Inner City Solutions has relocated its Manchester operation to the listed Dale Street office building within Town Centre Securities' Piccadilly Basin development.

The specialist consultancy has relocated its Manchester team from Little Peter Street in Castlefield to the 1,350sq ft former Rochdale Canal Company building at the entrance to the 12.8 acre Piccadilly Basin mixed use scheme. Inner City Solutions have taken a 5 year lease at 75 Dale Street. Piccadilly Basin's office agents are Lambert Smith Hampton and Cushman and Wakefield.

Founded ten years ago in Liverpool, Inner City Solutions set up its Manchester division in 2006, headed up by Director Marie Hodgson the former Head of Special Projects at English Partnerships. The independent consultancy works on behalf of both local authorities and development partners to assist with the delivery of large scale, complex regeneration projects. The company is currently supporting the North West Regional Assembly in the review of the region's housing strategy. Talking about their recent move, Marie said;

"It is entirely fitting that as a regeneration agency, we are located within one of the City's leading sustainable, regeneration developments. Having just celebrated our tenth year and subsequently expanded the team, we had outgrown our previous accommodation. This move reflects our company ethos perfectly and by locating within a historic, stand alone building we can really make our presence felt within Manchester. Piccadilly Basin has received several accolades in recent months for its contribution to sustainable, urban regeneration and we are confident that Inner City Solutions will flourish in our new environment."

Development Director for Town Centre Securities, Richard Lewis, says; "Our lettings strategy for Piccadilly Basin has always been to accommodate like minded tenants within our long-term scheme. Inner City Solutions further complement our existing tenant mix and enhance the high quality working environment we have created at the development."
