Exton Estates - General Other - Paris

Date: 07 Aug 2008

After two-and-a-half days and 226 miles of cycling trio of ex-Knight Frank agents managed to pedal from London to the Eiffel Tower, Paris.

They were taking part in the 3rd Annual London to Paris Bike Ride in aid of CHASE Hospice for Children. The 42 cyclists taking part raised more than £130,000.

The Punters team which was led by Exton Estates' Stuart Bedford (left of the pic) also included Nick Coombs (middle) and Stuart Fyfe of Lunson Mitchenall(right). Together they raised £7,500 for the charity.

Stuart Bedford said: "The weather was kind to us and we survived buckled wheels, French lorry drivers and some ear-splitting snoring from some of our fellow cyclists. But there is no truth to the rumour that we were actually taking part in the London to Brighton race but got bad directions."
