Rok - Industrial Sale - Havant
Date: 11 Aug 2008
Rok has sold another unit at its £9-million industrial and warehouse development in Havant.
The 80,000 sq ft Dakota Business Park scheme at Downley Road has proved to be a popular choice with many businesses across the region.
Rok's latest achievement includes the sale of a 2,958 sq ft unit to Hampshire-based P & I Generators. The eight-year-old firm, which is currently based in Waterlooville, is set to move to its new home imminently.
P & I Generators offers nationwide service and installation of all types and makes of diesel and gas powered generators in the 5KW to 2MW range.
Richard Stileman for Rok said: "I am delighted P & I has chosen Dakota to be its new home. The site is situated in an ideal location and as such has already attracted a vast amount of interest with more than 60% of units now occupied.
"Despite the current unsettled market there is still a good level of occupier demand and we are in discussions with a number of other parties on some of the remaining units.
"I am confident that these units, which range from 2,400 sq ft to 16,500 sq ft, will be taken up over the coming months and I look forward to seeing the development fully occupied in the near future."
Dakota Business Park is located just one mile from Havant town centre and the main railway station with the A27 and A3(M) road links within 1 1/2 miles.
