Savills, the global real estate service provider, has appointed Sheelam Chadha in a dual role as head of research and investment advisor for its the newly opened office in Brussels.
Sheelam has several years experience in commercial property having previously worked as a journalist for EuroProperty where she primarily focused on the investment markets of Belux and France. More recently, she was appointed senior analyst for Belux at Jones Lang La Salle. At Savills, Sheelam will focus on all-sectors in the Belux investment market working closely with all Savills' existing European teams.
Gregory Martin, joint managing director of Savills Belux, says: "In the current challenging markets, it is essential to provide our clients with state of the art market insight. Through the appointment of Sheelam we are happy to further increase our capabilities in the research and investment fields".
Sheelam Chadha adds: "Working alongside two reputable names in Brussels is an excellent long-term opportunity for me at Savills. Savills Brussels office opened in February 2008, together with John Defauw and Gregory Martin, respectively former managing partner and partner of DTZ Belux Group. The business provides transactional advisory and valuation services. The office is located at Avenue Louise 81, 1050 Brussels, Belgium.
