Keyland Gregory - Industrial Sale - York

Date: 22 Aug 2008

The Developer of Centurion Business Park, Keyland Gregory, has announced the sale of a 5,000 sq ft industrial unit on the scheme to York-based firm Wards Catering.

This latest deal continues an active six-month period of occupier take-up in the 47,000 sq ft development. Recently 25,000 sq ft was let to German-based Adva Optical Networking Limited. Also, the NHS Trust has acquired approximately 5,300 sq ft of office accommodation to operate an Occupational Health Centre.

A spokesperson for Keyland Gregory, Richard Tovey commented: "We are encouraged by the activity over the last few months and that our long term commitment to the project is now paying dividends. Unit 1 is now the only unit available amounting to 4,520 sq ft of modern office accommodation with 17 car parking spaces.

Wards Catering, who supply specialist catering equipment to public and private sector organisations across the UK, has relocated its operations from two sites in Hursts Yard, York to occupy the new industrial space.

Richard Tovey added: "The sale price for the industrial unit, in excess of £120 psf, is reflective of the shortage of B2 industrial accommodation in the York area."
