Rok - Industrial Letting - Osprey Quay, Portland
Date: 22 Aug 2008
Rok is celebrating after clinching a double deal at its £3 million impressive Navigator Park industrial development in Portland.
The 38,000 sq ft landmark scheme located at Osprey Quay has gone from strength-to-strength over the past few months with all of the units now sold or let.
British engineering company G3 Systems Ltd - an existing occupier at Navigator Park - has now signed a 10-year lease for a further three units, some 10,500 sq ft, to facilitate its business expansion.
Rok's second cause for celebration is the successful investment sale to a private company of the investment created by the letting to G3 in a deal worth £790,000.
Richard Stileman for Rok said: "This development has attracted a lot of attention from regional and national businesses not only for the quality of its construction and design but also because of its great location prominently positioned fronting the A354 with direct links to A35, M7 and M3 motorways.
"The Osprey Quay project itself will provide some 535,000 sq ft of development in total, plus a marina, and the location has already been selected for the sailing events in the London 2012 Olympics.
"It is extremely exciting to be involved with such a major project and I am delighted that G3 has decided to take more space. I wish them every success with their expansion plans."
The units at Navigator Park benefit from allocated parking, electrically-operated sectional steel up and over doors, 35 km/m2 floor loading areas as well as all mains services, 6.5m eaves and 10% roof lights.
Alistair Warwick-Smith of Goadsby acted for Rok on the investment sale whilst Chris Wilson of Goadsby and Nik Cox of King Sturge acted for Rok on the letting deal.
