Forsyth Business Centres - Offices General - England, England
Date: 02 Sep 2008
Serviced office provider Forsyth Business Centres is continuing its aggressive expansion programme with the announcement of new operations nationwide.
The company, whose parent organisation is Scarborough Group International, has increased the number of its business centre operations with the acquisition of serviced office space in Scotland, County Durham, West Yorkshire, West London and the M4 corridor.
The investment in the seven properties, which have been refurbished and renovated by Forsyth, reinforces the company's commitment to the sector and capitalises on businesses needing greater accommodation flexibility in a trying economic time.
Scott McCabe, Forsyth Business Centre's director said: "While we see many companies around us consolidating their portfolios, we are not.
"This phase of expansion is based on a strategic decision to provide solutions according to the economic climate and it is no secret that many companies simply cannot commit to binding long term lease agreements and are turning to this form of accommodation for more flexible options."
The latest tranche aquisitions for Forsyth covers sites in Darlington, Hemel Hempstead, Leeds, Inverness, Richmond on Thames, Datchet and Walton on Thames.
Scott added: "We are opportunistic about property acquisitions which allows for a programme of organic growth with new business centres continually coming online.
"Our UK portfolio is also complemented by our expansion into the dynamic property market of the Far East where we have established a strong foothold and are seeking to further capitalise on these emerging markets, which are seeing an increasing influx of innovative European businesses."
Taking a dual role Forsyth is also helping developers and existing landlords get the best returns from their commercial property through its management contracts division.
It offers services to third party corporations and landlords who own properties which have, for numerous reasons, become more of a liability than an asset to operate them as a semi serviced or managed work space, or as a Forsyth branded business centre featured within the company's prestigious portfolio.
