Mark Underwood, Partner, rejoins in the City of London office after relocating to DJ's Manchester office in 2000 and more recently establishing the DJ Leeds office in 2007. Mark returns into DJ's development consulting group and will continue to work with a range of national clients whilst maintaining close links with the regional planning business. Mark is a specialist in major projects, retail planning and environmental impact assessment and started his planning career on DJ's graduate scheme in 1997.

Rachel McNicholas joins as an associate from a private development company where she worked as planning manager for 3 years. Previously, Rachel worked as a planning consultant at Littman & Robeson / Martin Robeson Planning Practice, and W S Atkins. At DJ Rachel is involved in a wide range of planning and development work, acting on behalf of both public and private sector clients including developers, housing associations and statutory bodies.

James Finn joins as a senior planner from Barton Willmore where he was involved with a range of major residential and mixed use projects. James will be working in the London planning team advising private developers, institutions, occupiers and landowners as well as public sector clients on a wide range of planning and environmental issues relating to property development.

The Drivers Jonas London Planning Team now has 45 professional staff.
