Goadsby - General Letting - Andover, London

Date: 12 Sep 2008

Goadsby have let a refurbished and enlarged ground floor shop at 10 Bridge Street, Andover to the local charity, Naomi House.

Jim Sawyer, Director of agency at Goadsby's Winchester office says that "the shop has been let to Naomi House for a term of 10 years where the asking rent was £24,000 pa. The property attracted considerable interest from a variety of potential tenants reflecting the fact that Bridge Street is improving as a retail location with a greater footfall, now that Asda has moved in to the town".

Richard Pullen, Director of Investments at Goadsby, said "the property, which is located next to The White Hart Hotel, was purchased by Goadsby on behalf of a private property investor as a longer term investment. The owner has extended the property to also create a quality self-contained 1 bedroom first floor flat which he intends to let in response to the increased demand from residential tenants in the current market. The letting to Naomi House, who is relocating from High Street, illustrates that there continues to be a demand from both property investors and occupiers in this more difficult economic market"
