Easter Group - Industrial Letting - Haydock, St. Helens

Easter Group has prelet a 22,000 sq ft warehouse to steel producer and distributor Corus at its 76,000 sq ft six building industrial scheme Easter Park at Haydock Lane, Haydock, St. Helens.

Dunbar Bank provided £4.1m of site acquisition and development finance for the scheme which is under construction and due for completion in November. The units range in size from 6,750 sq ft to 22,000 sq ft. The contractor is Pochin.

Corus has taken a ten year lease and is paying £5.25 per sq ft. Easter has also pre-sold an 8,000 sq ft unit to a local occupier. Easter is quoting a freehold sale price of £85 per sq ft.

Easter Group development director Mark Braithwaite said: "This scheme has been another successful funding with Dunbar Bank and is attracting significant interest from both investors and potential tenants. We have a further 15 acres behind the site which is ready for a potential second phase of the scheme, subject to planning."
