Jones Lang LaSalle and Savills - Retail Letting - Cardiff, Wales

Helical Bar, advised by Jones Lang LaSalle and Savills, has let three units at its David Morgan retail development, The Hayes, Cardiff leaving a single unit of 1,357 sq ft available.

Molton Brown, Shoon and White Stuff have taken retail space in excess of 8000 sq ft.

White Stuff has taken a unit totalling 4,700 sq ft, on a ten year lease at an annual rent of £150,000. Shoon has taken a ten year lease on a 2,400 sq ft unit at an annual rent of £132,500 and Molton Brown has signed at 10 year lease on a 1,100 sq ft unit at an annual rent of £82,000.

Jones Lang LaSalle's Tony Edwards says: "Helical Bar has undertaken a very sympathetic redevelopment of this famous landmark property, which has produced a high quality retail environment that will complement the Hayes Frontage of the St David's 2 development which opens next year."

Matthew Brown at Savills adds: "We are delighted that we have been able to implement our clients strategy and attract quality fashion retailers to this pitch which will only improve further with the opening of SD2 next year".

Other occupiers at the David Morgan property include Borders, Moss Bros, Rossiters of Bath and TK Maxx.
