Ryden, on behalf of landlord Melville Street Developments, has sealed the deal on a final letting at 35 Melville Street, Edinburgh, taking the townhouse from vacant to fully occupied within months of completion of refurbishment works.
Brand 2020 Ltd has taken the ground floor, extending 750 sq ft, together with 1 parking space on a flexible 5-year lease with a 3-year break option at a rent of £18.50 per sq ft. Brand 2020 is relocating from Walker Street.
This deal follows on from the successful letting of the first (1,035 sq ft) and second (911 sq ft) floors earlier this year to Highland & Universal Securities Ltd and Voluntary Health Scotland respectively. The 410 sq ft rear mews building was also recently let to Frasers Property Developments Ltd.

After the property became vacant in late 2008 our client was quick to undertake a good quality refurbishment and this significantly contributed to our successful re-letting of the premises."
