Aitchison Raffety - Chesham
Date: 17 Jun 2009
Two recent office transactions in Chesham point to the belief that the bottom of the commercial property market may have been reached.
Aitchison Raffety has completed a sale of an 850 sq ft office unit at Esprit in Asheridge Road and completed a letting of 2,200 sq ft of office space at Saxeway Business Park.
The completed sale at Esprit was for a bare shell office unit so that the purchaser, Timothy Howard Homes, could benefit from a lower stamp duty level. Other units at Esprit are also available on this basis.
Landlords, Applegarth Holdings Ltd, achieved a stepped rental, over a three year period, averaging £10.45 per sq ft at Unit 2 Saxe Way Business Park, Chesham. The incoming tenant, ROIN Trust prepares training videos, particularly in the medical arena, for use in the Middle East.
