Restaurant Property - Ealing, London
Date: 01 Jul 2009
Flame-grilled Portuguese peri-peri chicken restaurant chain Nando's advised by Restaurant Property has taken a 3,000 sq ft unit in Ealing, London.
Nando's has taken a 25-year lease from a private landlord. It is paying £105,000 per year for the restaurant located at 1-5 Bond Street, W5.
Restaurant Property partner David Rawlinson said: "Nando's is occupying a former Halifax bank building. The credit crunch has forced a major consolidation amongst banks and we would expect that as they divest themselves of surplus branches restaurants will be major beneficiaries".
Nando's which was founded in South Africa in 1987 has now spread to five continents and has more than 200 restaurants in the UK.
