Piers Nickalls has returned to Savills' UK operation.

International real estate advisor Savills has confirmed that leading agent Piers Nickalls has returned to its UK operation to head a European Corporate Real Estate desk.

Nickalls, who has been working for Colliers CRE in Hong Kong for three years, started his career at Savills in October 1997. Having achieved director and head of department status at Savills within the South East of England Business Team, he relocated to Hong Kong where he has been responsible for managing commercial operations at Colliers CRE. In 2009 he was awarded Hong Kong broker of the Year as nominated by landlord and real estate agency firms of Hong Kong.

At Savills, Nickalls will be responsible for the development and management of European tenant representation and leasing, linking with Savills Asia and Savills New York. His track record includes representing numerous international firms in Hong Kong, including Lloyds TSB, McKinsey & Co, Mallesons Stephen Jaques, Mayer Brown JSM, Ropes & Gray, Walkers Asia, Vinson & Elkins & Allens Arthur Robinson. In terms of recent disposals he has led the leasing of CITIC Tower, Hong Kong Island's largest disposal instruction in 2009, as well as Goodman's 2.32 million sq ft warehouse and logistics scheme, the largest development in Hong Kong for over 10 years with 35% pre-let commitments signed.
