Chartwell - Retail - Norwich, Barn Road

Chartwell Land has recently let a 3,100 sq m (33,500 sq fl) unit at Barn Road, Norwich to Toys R Us at a rent of £16.25 per sq ft. The Toys R Us store will open in October comprising the majority of the former B&Q unit.

B & Q relocated to a new Warehouse in December last year. This deal is another example of how Chartwell Land uses asset management skills to enhance the value of the investments in their £1.25 billion portfolio.

Chartwell Land is in the process of extending over the original garden centre to create a unit of 1,200 sq m (13,100 sq ft), which will be available in July, It has open A1 non-food retail consent. Letting agent, FPD Savills is seeking £16.50 per sq ft.
