Nelson Bakewell ONCOR have acquired five further sites on behalf of easyRentacar, the world's first 100% on line car rental company established by Stelios Haji-Ioannou, the founder and Chairman of easyJet and easyEverything:

Edith Grove Car Park, Edith Grove, Chelsea, London

The site comprises 200 spaces in an existing car park just west of Chelsea Embankment with access off the King’s Road, within 0.75 mile of Fulham Broadway & West Brompton Underground stations. The branch is served by a fleet of 400 Mercedes A-class. This is easyRentacar’s second London site.

Horse Fair Car Park, Smallbrook Queensway, Birmingham

The site in Birmingham City Centre comprises 165 spaces in an existing multi storey car park in the south of the city centre. It is an excellent location within a 10 minute walk of Birmingham New Street Station. A fleet of 400 Mercedes A-class operate from the branch.

Avenida Commandante Garcia Morato (Avenida Del Aeropuerto), Malaga

The site in Malaga comprises 200 spaces in a surface car park immediately to the south east of Malaga Airport and within a 5 minute walk. The branch is served by a fleet of 400 Mercedes A-class. NB worked in conjunction with local ONCOR agent Ferran.

L’arenas, 455 Promenade Des Anglais, Nice

The site comprises 150 spaces in an underground car park together with a 430 sqft retail unit, situated within a few minute’s walk of Nice International Airport. easyRentacar are now the only car rental company at the airport with the fleet in such close proximity, with other companies having to provide a bus service to take customers to off site locations. The branch is now running a fleet of 400 Mercedes A-class. NB worked in conjunction with local agent David Britten.

Vurehout 20, 1507 Ec, Zaandam, Amsterdam

An existing warehouse with external yard providing 196 spaces located approximately 9 miles north west of Amsterdam City Centre. It is accessible by rail from the city centre and Schipol Airport. The branch is now running a fleet of 400 Mercedes A-class. Nelson Bakewell worked in conjunction with local ONCOR agent Boer Hartog Hooft.

Nelson Bakewell’s International Corporate Real Estate team are exclusively appointed by easyRentacar to manage the acquisition of sites throughout the UK and Europe in conjunction with their partners in the ONCOR network. Other outlets, which have been acquired earlier this year, include in Barcelona, Paris, London, Glasgow & Manchester with others likely to open shortly in Geneva, Madrid, Rotterdam & Liverpool.

The company is set to undergo rapid expansion in the forthcoming year to meet the service's high level of demand. As a result NELSON BAKEWELL ONCOR will be involved in an aggressive roll out plan for 2001 with a number of locations earmarked in France, Spain, Switzerland, Portugal, The Benelux, UK and Ireland.

The acquisition programme is co-ordinated by Nelson Bakewell’s International Corporate Real Estate team.
