Lambert Smith Hampton - Appointment - Michael Perkins
Date: 26 Nov 2001
Lambert Smith Hampton is to appoint Michael Perkins, currently equity partner at Hartnell Taylor Cook's Mayfair office. Michael, 39, is to head up LSH's retail team of seven in the West End and will sit on the West End Board.
Michael has been at Hartnell Taylor Cook for nine years. He represents blue chip retailers including McDonalds and BhS as well as advising Westfield Shoppingtowns on their first shopping centre purchase in Europe, the Broadmarsh Centre in Nottingham.
Mark Rigby, Chief Executive of LSH West End says: "Michael's arrival well and truly puts LSH back on the retail map. We have been building up our team steadily and, at a time when others are adopting recruitment freezes, our policy is to continue to grow with Michael at the helm."
Michael Perkins says: "This is a fantastic opportunity for me and the potential at LSH is massive, with its impressive retail portfolio work and its full range of complementary services available to clients. I am very much looking forward to leading a West End retail team that is a match for the other major players in the retail sector."
Michael Perkins follows swiftly after two other new arrivals to the West End retail team: Chris Linnell joined in June from DTZ Debenham Tie Leung to expand the retail warehouse division and Julian Head joined from Churston Heard as a director in September.
