ep2 Elliott Partnership - Appointment - Acquisition Strategy

Scholl Footwear has appointed ep2 in conjunction with Daniel Harris & Co. to advise on the acquisition strategy of its expanding retail portfolio. There are currently 57 shops countrywide from Aberdeen to Bornemouth, with a planned expansion to 80 units by 2005. The first new look Scholl store was unveiled at 4 Wheelergate, Nottingham just a month ago.

According to Colin Campbell, MD of Scholl Footwear, "This is a very exciting stage in the development of the Scholl Footwear concept. We are increasingly focusing on a holistic approach to feet providing, not only shoes, but a range of therapies, including chiropody in a pleasant, relaxing environment".
