Acting as joint agents with Howell Brooks on behalf of IMI Property Investments, Tim Gilbertson BSc (Hons) MRICS of Fisher Hargreaves Proctor has disposed of a potential commercial development site at Watnall Road, Hucknall, Nottinghamshire.

Set just off the Hucknall bypass, with a main road frontage, this commercial development site extends to approximately 1.4 acres and the sale has now completed following significant early interest in this opportunity.

“With the continuing shortage of development land in and around the City, I was pleased to be instructed with this opportunity of a potential development site in a prominent location on the fringes of Hucknall. With the dual benefit of its fringe of City location plus good access to Junctions 26 & 27 of the M1 motorway, significant early interest was experienced in the site and eventually a sale was completed to a local property company. It will be interesting to see what development is put into place on the site as it must be an ideal opportunity for the construction of new industrial space with such good transport links and main road prominence”.

At a time when development land within the Centre and fringes of Nottingham remains scarce purchasers are still on the look out for any opportunity and it is likely that this situation will remain for the foreseeable future.
