Stiles Harold Williams - Industrial Sale - Brighton, Coombe Road

Stiles Harold Williams, acting on behalf of Tyreco, has sold their former premises at 2-14 & 16 Coombe Road, Brighton, overlooking Lewes Road, to Big Yellow Property Co Ltd. The property, comprising some 72,000 sq ft constructed in the 1920’s, has been bought for £1.835 million, amounting to £25.50 per square foot.

The property will be occupied by Big Yellow Self Storage as their second unit on the South Coast (the first being in Portsmouth). When refurbished, the property will provide self-storage facilities for the Brighton & Hove conurbation, as well as surrounding towns.

Tyreco, the tyre wholesale company (suppliers to the Setyre Fast Fit chain across the South East, as well as other outlets) has relocated from Brighton into single-storey premises on the Hackhurst Land Industrial Estate of Lower Dicker
