Acting on behalf of Greggs plc, the largest bakery-related retailer and sandwich specialist in the UK, sole retained agent Stephen Kane & Company for the South East of the UK, has taken a 10-year lease on a retail unit at 18 West Street, Reading (RG1 1TT).
The unit, which is situated opposite Primark and close to the entrance of Broad Street Mall, comprises a ground floor of 60.3 sq m (650 sq ft) and a basement of 41.8 sq m (450 sq ft). Greggs Plc, which has more than 1,150 units throughout the UK, is paying a rent of £25,000 per annum for the new lease, which was surrendered by Granada Technology Group back to the Landlord.
