Chartwell Land - Retail Letting - Bristol, Imperial Park

Chartwell Land is delighted to announce three pre-lettings at Imperial Park, the new retail destination in Bristol.

Carpetright, Powerhouse and ScS have all taken units within the second phase of the scheme.

ScS and Powerhouse are both going to retail from 10,000 sq ft units at a rent of £20 per sq ft on 25 and 15 year leases respectively. Carpetright have also taken a 10,000 sq ft unit on a 25 year lease. The tenants are due to commence fitting out in mid July and will be aiming to open in time for the August Bank Holiday. Further lettings will be announced shortly as a further 52,000 sq ft is currently under offer.

Imperial Park is proving to be a very successful development for Chartwell Land. Big W are to take a 9,285 sq m (100,000 sq ft) store on the park, B&Q is already open and trading and the scheme has recently won an “Excellent” rated BREEAM certificate for Phase 1.

Ian Mashiter, Development Director at Chartwell Land comments “We are delighted to announce these further lettings at Imperial Park. By the end of this year we will have 250,000 sq ft of retail space completed and occupied with a further 200 – 300,000 sq ft of retail and business space in the pipeline”.

King Sturge and Colin Buckle & Co acted for Chartwell Land and are currently marketing the next phase.

Wilkinson Williams acted for Powerhouse, Harvey Spack Field acted for Carpetright and Johnson Fellows acted for ScS.
