SJ Berwin - Offices Development - London EC2, 201 Bishopsgate

SJ Berwin have advised British Land in connection with the purchase from Railtrack Group of Railtrack’s 50% interest in Broadgate Phase 12 Limited. Broadgate Phase 12 is the company undertaking the proposed development of 201 Bishopsgate, London, EC2. The consideration was £40.25 million.

Instructions for this major acquisition were received by the SJ Berwin team on the afternoon of Tuesday the 16th July and completion was achieved by Friday 19th July.

The SJ Berwin team were property partners Stephen Willson and Lewis Myers, senior property assistant Helen Willett, corporate partner Michael Goldberg and assistant Rebecca Babcock. Mike Edwards and Deepa Deb (Clifford Chance) acted for Railtrack.
