FPDSavills - Retail Letting - Didcot, OMEGA Distribution Scheme

Albion Land and Diageo Pension Scheme, advised by FPDSavills and Lambert Smith Hampton’s Oxford office, have let the penultimate unit at the 12,080 sq m (130,000 sq ft) OMEGA distribution scheme in Didcot to Italian kitchen specialists, Baumatic Ltd.

Baumatic has taken Unit 1, totalling 5,077 sq m (54,650 sq ft) on a 5-year lease at £382,550, equating to £75.35 per sq m (£7 per sq ft).

Only one self-contained unit of 2,765 sq m (29,770 sq ft) with dock and grade level loading and a generous yard area remains available.

Jon Silversides, director at Lambert Smith Hampton’s Oxford office, explains: “The letting to Baumatic builds on the precedent set by Marston Books, which acquired Unit 2 earlier this year, in establishing this brand new scheme in Didcot as an important distribution location.”

Lambert Smith Hampton’s Reading office represented Baumatic.
