Nicholson Estates - Mixed-Use Development - Farnham, East Street

Nicholson Estates and Sainsbury’s Property Company have been selected by Waverley Borough Council for the 6.09 acre (2.47 ha) East Street Regeneration Project in Farnham town centre.
Beating off competition from six other shortlisted bidders, redevelopment plans submitted by the Nicholson Estates and Sainsbury’s Property Company’s joint venture comprise 22,640 sq m (243,700 sq ft) of retail, leisure and office accommodation plus over 300 apartments.
The scheme includes:
•A new 22,000 sq ft (2,044 sq m) Sainsbury’s store
•Residential: 338 apartments including 106 affordable housing units
•Car Parking: 400 public car parking spaces
•The scheme also covers the replacement of existing community uses.
