Nationwide Developments - Industrial Letting - Winchester, Moorside Road

Nationwide Developments, the Surrey-based property development & investment company launched this week by new Managing Director David Skinner, has announced the completion of its first industrial development. The rents achieved at their Winchester scheme of £86 per sq m (£8 per sq ft) represent a record for the city.

Moorside Point, Moorside Road, Winchester, Hants is a new light industrial/distribution development located on the established Winnall Industrial Estate close to junction 9/M3 and Tesco Superstore. Unit 1, 364 sq m (3,918 sq ft) was let to Warren & Sons, who were represented by Warwick Martel Limited on a 20-year lease with a break clause at the fifteenth year; Unit 2, 460 sq m (4,951 sq ft) has been let to LH Conservatories on a 20-year lease with a break at the 15th year. Both units are on ground and first floor.

“My vision for Nationwide Developments is to build quality new developments in easily accessible locations and to get off to such a good start at Winchester is extremely satisfactory,” comments David Skinner, managing director.

Humberts and Neilson Holt advised on the letting for Nationwide Developments, who acquired the development from Medhouse Ltd prior to the second letting.
