Acting on behalf of City Centre Restaurants (UK) Ltd trading as Wok Wok, sole retained agent Stephen Kane & Company has assigned a lease on a newly classified A1 retail unit at 15 St Peter’s Gate, Nottingham NG1 to surfwear retailer The Outdoor Group trading as Free Spirit.

The unit is located in a busy retailing pitch in the centre of Nottingham close to Cheapside, Poultry, Victoria Street and Bridlesmith Gate as well as retailers Waterstones and the Body Shop. The four-storey former A3 restaurant unit comprises a retail ground floor of 181.15 sq m (1950 sq ft), a basement of 161.64 sq m (1740 sq ft), a first floor of 146.78 sq m (1580 sq ft) and a second floor of 51.09 sq m (550 sq ft).

Agent Stephen Kane & Company (020 7224 0101) negotiated a rent of £75,000 per annum for the 25-year lease on the unit which runs from June 1998. The Outdoor Group, a division of sports and outdoor-wear retailer and wholesaler Blacks Leisure Group plc, was represented by Simpson Wilks (020 7495 1227).
