Taylors Countrywide - Retail Letting - Cardiff, Mermaid Quay

Leading estate agency Taylors Countrywide – part of the national Countrywide Assured Group network – has opened a new flagship office at Mermaid Quay, the new £25m shopping and leisure scheme by joint venture partners Sovereign Land and Schroders’ on the waterfront in the heart of Cardiff Bay.
Unit 13, on pedestrianised Bute Street, provides a total of 76sq m (815 sq ft). It has been taken on a 15 year lease at an annual rental of £21,000 per annum.
Specialising in the sale and letting of residential properties, Taylors Countryside has 36 branches in South Wales and the west of England, two of which are in Cardiff.
Commenting on the choice of Cardiff Bay for the next stage of its expansion, Taylors South West MD Ian Thompson said:

The new outlet will join the impressive line up of bars, restaurants and cafés already trading at Mermaid Quay, including Scottish & Newcastle brands Bar 38 and Via Fossa and Noble House’s De:aLto Mediterranean Restaurant as well as Cadwalader Ice-Cream Café, Coffee Mania!, Eddie’s Diner, turquoise, Izakaya Japanese Tavern, Pearl of the Orient Chinese Restaurant, Tapas, Scallops Fish Restaurant, Café Naz Indian Brasserie, On The Waterfront, Tiger Bay Thai Restaurant and Bosphorus Turkish Restaurant. Units have also been let to SFI and Greene King.
Also trading are Ken Picton Hair & Spa, Cardiff Bay Dental Centre, The Glee Club, La Perla Living, Classic Eyes Opticians, The Designer Room Shopping Outlet, IDEAS Sound & Vision and NatWest Bank.
