Services	Edmond Shipway is a private partnership operating from nine offices throughout the UK. A corporate member of the of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Association of Project Safety, Association of Project Managers, Association of Planning Supervisors, British Institute of Facilities Management, Chartered Institute of Building, Continuing Professional Development Foundation, Faculty of Building, Local Chambers of Commerce, Movement for Innovation, and The Engineering Forum, it is a multi-disciplinary consultancy providing: - quantity surveying - project management - building surveying - planning supervision - building services consultancy to clients, both public and private, across all market sectors. Services can be employed individually or collectively to provide maximum flexibility and effective project support. Every commission secured by Edmond Shipway is managed by one of its partners, providing customers with a single and accountable point of contact. The partner is supported by an associate and qualified technical and administrative staff, assigned to the project for its duration. Edmond Shipway’s performance on the project, and its client’s satisfaction is monitored by the partner responsible. This accountability, together with the technical competence of its staff, results in more than 60% of the practice’s workload being generated by repeat business.
Description	For more than 40 years, Edmond Shipway has provided consultancy services to a wide variety of organisations in many sectors of industry. The practice began in London in 1963 and progressively opened other offices across the UK to form the network that we have today. Commissions in the Middle East in the 1970s and 1980s, were followed in the 1990s by projects in the Far East, resulting in our decision to establish a permanent presence in Malaysia. The practice tailors its approach to meet the needs of each individual client and project, offering flexibility in the services that can be provided and the resources needed. Each project is managed locally, but has the full backing of Edmond Shipway’s national resource. Quality assurance procedures are in place to ensure the delivery of a consistently high level of service. The success of any project is invariably related to the performance, as a team, of the client’s representative, consultants, designers and contractors. From the outset, Edmond Shipway works with all members of the team to set agreed and common goals, to establish good working relationships and to engender team spirit.
